A Time for Reflection Approaches...

I found out today that my boss, who I happen to generally get along with very well, will be moving to New York and transitioning somewhere else in the Company over the next couple of months. I've been in a numb state of shell-shock since I found out. I had always assumed she'd be in that position until after I went back to school...

As one of my co-workers mentioned, I guess this is a good sharp kick to the head for me - I think I've gotten very complacent about things over the last several months...For someone who went to such a dynamic College and a reasonably fluid company, it's rather amazing how easily I can get comfortable and stop really pushing myself to keep exploring other opportunities. If I hadn't told myself that I would aim for business school in 3 years, I don't know if I'd honestly have thought about my overall career path at all for the last several months...

So much to think about...

Steve and I will be moving into our new place on the 25th of August. The four of us spent some time on the 4th cleaning everything up and Keoni moved in last weekend...
